Girls Trip!

So, the girls went to Disneyland from March 19th thru March 22nd. No kids, no husbands. We had a great time. It was nice to be able to roam the park without overtired, overstimulated kids. It was also nice to be able to ride some "big kid" rides. Here are some photos:

Already slacking!

So, my New Year's Resolution to blog more went right out the window. LOL! Maybe I'll make it my Easter resolution now.

It's Been A While...

Gosh, I'm not very good at this whole blogging thing. I'm going to make it my New Year's Resolution to be more active since I actually took the time to create this.

Our Christmas was really nice. We spent Christmas Eve with Matt's family. We went to a new Japanese Restaurant for dinner. It was yummy but not as good as my favorite Japanese restaurant.

On Christmas we opened gifts with the kids. I made our traditional French Toast for breakfast but this year I used some Cinnamon Chip bread from Great Harvest Bread Company. It was delicious. I'll definately be using that from now on. We then headed over to my Mom's house for a while. We opened gifts there and hung out for a bit. After that we packed up and went to my grandparents house. It was utter chaos there but that's normal when you have a huge family. One of my cousins that live in Oregon was there with her hubby and baby. It was nice to see her family.

Cole's First Birthday

We had Cole's first birthday party at a park here in town. It was a beautiful day and everyone had a great time. Cole loved his cake....but he pretty much eats anything you stick in front of him. It was really hard trying to clean him up in the little sink that is in the bathroom. He had cake all over him. He was pretty tired when the time came to open up his presents. The other kids at the party pretty much did all the work for him. When we got home he took a really long nap.

Jumping on Board

So, I decided to jump on board with the whole blogging business. We'll see how this turns out.

Our time right now is being consumed with party planning. Cole's first birthday is Saturday. I can't believe how quickly it has come. It seems like just yesterday we were preparing for his arrival.
